Samuel Taylor Marshall

Samuel Taylor was born on February 26th, 1816. Samuel Taylor's father is Gilbert of Wash Co PA Marshall and his mother is Mary Hueston Houston. His paternal grandfather was James or Humphrey of Wash Co PA Marshall and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; his maternal grandfather was William Hueston Houston and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Taylor. He had four sisters named Jane, Elizabeth, Eleanor and Catherine. Samuel Taylor is no longer alive.

  In SAMUEL TAYLOR MARSHALL's biorgraphy it states his parents were Gilbert Marshall and Mary Hueston, (this marriage was also mentioned in Matthew Hueston's biography). Gilbert's father was James (but a researcher says it's Humphry). Mary's parents were William Hueston and Elizabeth TAYLOR daughter of Robert TAYLOR. Gilbert and Mary's other children (unproved as yet by me) Catherine Marshall married James M. Rogers 1833, Eleanor Marshall m John Nichols, Jane. Other than Samuel I haven't proved the rest. Catherine is my brick wall. Also there is no will or probate for Gilbert that I have found. Gibert and Mary were in Milford Butler Ohio from the early 1800s on and were buried in Darrtown cemetery. Any information about these families would be appreciated.
