Robert Bobby Marshall Sr

Robert Bobby was born about 1781 in Maryland. Robert Bobby's father was Preston Marshall and his mother was Alice Hendrake Hendricks. He was an only child. He died about 1855 in Caroll Co., Virginia.

General Notes
- Lived in Floyd County, Va, (was Montgomery then) on Dodd Creek. He then lived in Carroll County, Va.
  According to information provided by Bruce Thomas, a great great grandson of Robert Marshall, Sr, Robert was a bond boy for a blacksmith in Maryland and was supposed to have been apprenticed for 4 years, but didn't like his master, broke bond, swam the Potomac River and settled in present day Floyd County (Montgomery County then). The children were probably all born before they moved to Carroll county, Va.
