Nancy was born on August 12th, 1822.  Nancy's father was Hugh Tom Marshall and her mother was Rebecca Ritchie.  Her paternal grandparents were Nicholas???\ Marshall and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Enoch, Mary, Rachael, Permelia and Sarah.  She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
