Leander J  Jackson?? was born in 1827 in Mansfield, Ohio.  Leander J  Jackson??'s father was John S Marshall and his mother was Sarah Stewart.  His paternal grandparents were Capt Col John of Cross Creek from Lancaster Marshall and Mary Park; his maternal grandparents are unk Stewart and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and a sister, named William Stanhope (sh in nj), Austin, Charles R of Richland Co Ohio and Adaline.  He died at the age of 72 in 1899.
