James Presley was born on December 14th, 1847 in Rush Co Indiana.  James Presley's father was Benjamin Franklin Marshall and his mother was Jane Decker.  His paternal grandparents were James N Marshall and Susannah D Baker AND/OR Carpenter. He had two brothers named Jasper N and others. He had two half-brothers named Oliver and Francis M.  He died at the age of 86 on March 13th, 1934 in Tipton County, Indiana.
