James Markham Marshall

James Markham was born in 1842 in Warrenton, Fauquier Co., Virginia. James Markham's father was Alexander John Marshall and his mother was Maria Rose Taylor. His paternal grandparents were Charles Juris Fleming Marshall and Lucy Pickett. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Charles, Robert Taylor, Catherine Taylor and Lilly Taylor. He was the youngest of the five children. He had two half-sisters named Lucy Pickett and Agnes Robb. He died at the age of 20 on September 6th, 1862.
