Lt James Gordon Marshall

James Gordon was born on November 21st, 1826 in Fairview, Brooke Co., VA. James Gordon's father was John Marshall and his mother was Elizabeth Hayes. His paternal grandparents were Aaron E Marshall and Sarah Snowden; his maternal grandparents were James Hayes and Elizabeth. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Levy Levi Ralston, Yuleman, Sarah, Eliza, Rachel, Jane, Lavina and LeviNancy. He was the eighth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 on October 6th, 1902.
