James Marshall

James was born in September 1860. James' father was John Marshall and his mother was Rachael Matilda Crow. His paternal grandparents were David B Marshall and Elizabeth Maple; his maternal grandparents were Robert Crow and Rachael Blackburn. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Robert, David, Alexander B, John, Andrew, Margaret E, Mary Louise and Rose. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
