Edwin Beale Marshall

Edwin Beale was born on April 15th, 1879 in Dennis, Forsyth Co, N.C.. Edwin Beale's father was James Matteson (Matt) MATSON, MATISON or MADISON, Marshall and his mother was <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were Col William Henry Marshall and Mariah Vance. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William Henry (Whit), John Vincent, Ellen Alonzo, James Abram (Jim), Albert Franklin, Matterson Haizlip, Hadie Mariah, Sallie Annie, Eliza Jones (Jonie) and Carrie Gorrell. He was the nineth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 25 on January 17th, 1905.
