  • MARSHALL, CHRISTOPHER. City of Phila. Late druggist. December 27,
    1799. January 12, 1807. 2.47.Provides for wife Margaret Marshall. Son
    Isaac Roberts Marshall and Uncle Thos. Paschall. To dau. Ann,
    formerly married to Dr. Solomon Bush since decd., now married to Dr.
    William Currie of this city) a house in Philadelphia joining house
    formerly of Jacob Lewis' estate, also house late belonging to estate of
    Thomas Earl, subject to ground rent payable to Charles Jervis, also
    house with ground rent payable to heirs of Margaret Allen, property
    formerly belonging to estate of her late husband Solomon Bush and
    conveyed to Elizabeth Marshall, who later conveyed the same to me,
    land bounded by lands of my decd. brother Benjamin and lot
    belonging to brother Charles, land purchased of Benjamin Swett in
    Kensington, Northern Liberties. Children of dau. Ann, namely; Mathias
    Marshall Bush and Cornelia Currie. To dau. Elizabeth Flower Marshall,
    who will have sufficient from her own mother's estate, who was
    Elizabeth dau. of Enoch Flower, decd. bequeaths meadow in
    Moyamensing Township, Philadelphia Co., bounded by meadow
    belonging to late Joseph Johnson. Land in Plumstead or Bedminster
    Township, Bucks Co., which belonged to Enoch Flower, bro. of my
    former wife Elizabeth, bequeathed by his grandfather John Jones and
    as Enoch Wheeler, son of Samuel Wheeler, became entitled to one
    half, as his mother Ann would have been had she survived her bro.
    sd. Enoch Flower. The other half to my wife Elizabeth Marshall, my
    share of which I bequeath to sd. dau. Elizabeth Flower Marshall. To
    son Isaac Roberts Marshall, property in Philadelphia joining that of
    bro. Charles and estate of James Sharswood,subject to ground rent to
    heirs of Charles West. Lands in Moyamensing Township bounded by
    lands granted by my father to my brother Benjamin and by land
    formerly of William Shippen, Owen Biddle or William Pritchard. Lands
    formerly part of estate of Francis Rawle, decd., and part of a division
    apportioned to his dau. Sarah Massey, now decd., lands known by
    name of the laboratory for purpose of preparing salammoniac &c.
    subject to ground rent payable to estate of Sarah Masters, lot
    purchased of Beulah Burge, Jacob R. Howell and wife, property in
    borough of Lancaster as pr. deed from John Miller and Michael App.
    Lot purchased lately of John Moore formerly Hanel rights. Lot subject
    to ground rent payable to William Hamilton. Lots in Lancester were
    formerly estate of Dr. Abraham Neff, decd. Land purchased of John
    Brynnyman and wife, also lot purchased of John Moore in
    Lancaster.Daughter: Sarah Ann Collins, decd., wife of Zaccheus
    Collins, left one dau. named Ann Collins to whom I bequeath lot in
    Philadelphia adjoining estate of Jonathan Beers, estate of John
    Drinker and ground late Taylor's but not John Harlands, two houses
    being part of what was called Morgans Row. Ground rent payable by
    James Eddy's estate, lot at present rented to Henry Wester. Sons-in-
    law: Dr. Casper Wistar and Zaccheus Collins. Plantation in Provindence
    Township,Montgomery Co., land in possession of Thomas Reese in
    Northumberland Co., lot in Louisburg purchased by Ellichansens
    estate, land in Amwell, N. J., share of estate at Nanticoke Forge and
    Deep Creek Furnance in Worchester, Dorchester and Sussex Counties,
    Del. to be sold by Exec. Father: Christopher Marshall left to bro.
    Charles and myself property in Borough of Lancaster &c. Father-in-
    Law: James Eddy.Daughter: Isabella, decd., wife of Caspar Wistar.
    Where as my wife's uncle Thomas Paschall appointed Joseph Hillborn
    and myself his Execs. Since making codicil he became possessed of
    land in Penna. and Kentucky which descended to Samuel Mather,
    James Watson, Jesse Watson, John Watson and Paschall Lewis, sons
    of Margaret Lewis, decd., who was sister to said Thomas Paschall and
    to James Moore, son of Hannah Moor, decd., who was dau. of sd.
    Margaret, also to Abraham Roberts, the son and Jane Hornor,
    Margaret Marshall, Hannah Pool and Patience Hillman, daus. of
    Hannah Roberts, decd., who was another sister of sd. Thomas Pascall.
    Benjamin Hornor and wife Jane and Samuel Hillman and wife Patience
    conveyed to me land in Allegahny Co., late Westmoreland,
    Washington Co., Northampton Co., Northumberland Co., Luzern Co.,
    Fayette Co., late Virginia, now Kentucky which I bequeath to the heirs
    of Thomas Paschall. Samuel Mather of Northumberland Co., to heirs
    of James Watson, to Paschall Lewis of sd. county, to James Moor of
    sd. county, to John Watson of Bedford County, Virginia, to Jesse
    Watson of sd. Co. of Bedford, to Jane Hornor of Philadelphia, to
    Patience Hillman of Gloucester Co., N. J., to Hannah Pool of New York
    City, to heirs of Abraham Roberts of this city, namely Rachel Roberts,
    widow of sd. Abraham and his son Thomas Paschall Roberts and
    daughter Margaret Marshall Roberts. Wife Margaret Marshall was
    entitled to a share of said property previous to her joining me in
    conveying to James Moore, who reconveyed it to me, the same I
    bequeath to said wife Margaret to be at her disposal.Exec: Wife
    Margaret Marshall, daughter Ann Currie,brother Charles Marshall,
    brother-in-law Benjamin Hornor, and son-in-law Zaccheus Collins.Wit:
