John Gilbert Love

John Gilbert was born on January 2nd, 1788 in Davidson Co. TN. John Gilbert's father was Joseph Love Jr and his mother was Mary Marshall. His paternal grandparents were Joseph H Love Sr and Margaret Bryan Bryant; his maternal grandparents were Gilbert poss N Marshall II and Martha Roan ROANOKE??? Rowan. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, William, David Bryan, Samuel, James M, Margaret, Elizabeth, Martha, Mary Steele and Susan. He died at the age of 78 in September 1866 in San Augustine, TX.
