John Lewis

John's father was Capt Henry Lewis and his mother was Ann Buford. His paternal grandparents were Henry Lewis and Martha Kendall; his maternal grandparents were John Beauford Buford and Judith Early Earle. He had five brothers named Thomas Abraham Buford, Simeon, William, James and Henry.
