Hannah was born on October 2nd, 1789 in Guilford Co., NC.  Hannah's father was David Lewis and her mother is Penelope Ann Beeson.  Her paternal grandparents were John Lewis and Priscilla Brooks; her maternal grandparents are Benjamin Beeson and Elizabeth Hunter. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Isaiah, Jacob, Joab, Abner, Neriah Frederick, Benjamin, Cosby, Tarleton, Peter, Priscilla, Catherine and Elizabeth.  She was the youngest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 79 on July 22nd, 1869 in Knob Noster, Johnson, MO.
