Samuel Jackson

Samuel was born on June 9th, 1837 in Hermitage Davidson TN. Samuel's father was Andrew adopted Donelson Jackson and his mother was Sarah Yorke. His paternal grandparents were Severn Donelson and Elizabeth; his maternal grandfather is Capt Peter Yorke and his maternal grandmother was Mary Haines. President Andrew Jackson II and Rachel Donelson were his grandparents through his father's adoption. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas Jefferson, Robert Armstrong, Andrew and Rachael. He died at the age of 26 on September 27th, 1863 in Marietta GA.
