Hugh was born in 1763 in Ireland.  Hugh's father was Andrew Jackson and his mother was Elizabeth Hutcheson.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh Jackson and <Unknown>. He had two brothers named Robert and Andrew.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 16 on June 20th, 1779 in NC.
