James Swope Harvey

James Swope was born in 1817 in Monroe Co. VA. James Swope's father was Joshua Calvin Harvey and his mother was Sarah Ann Sally Swope. His paternal grandparents are Nicholas Harvey and Mary Snidow (Snydow); his maternal grandparents were Michael Swope and Mary Eleanor Ellison. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Michael Williamson, John Wesley, Jacob White, Isaac Newton, Lorenzo Dow, <Unknown>, 13 ch and Elizabeth Dell.
