Burr was born on May 21st, 1699 in Stafford, Prince William Co., VA.  Burr's father was Capt Thomas Harrison and his mother was Sinthia Elizabeth Short.  His paternal grandparents were Burr Harrison and Lettice (Mary) SCARLETT OR Frances Mary Burdette. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Seth, Cuthbert, Frances Linton?? and Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 76 in 1775 in Prince William Co., VA.
