Joseph M was born in 1807.  Joseph M's father was Joseph Hare and his mother was Rebekah Marshall.  His maternal grandparents were James Marshall and Jane Lindsey. He had a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender named Isabella K. and Hare.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 86 in 1893.
