Capt Thomas Guess

Thomas was born in 1712. Thomas' father was Capt Richard Guest Gist Guess and his mother was Zipporah Murray. His paternal grandparents were Christopher Guest Gist Guess I and Edith Cromwell; his maternal grandparents were James Murray and Jemima Morgan. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Christopher Richard Gist, Nathaniel Guest Gist, William, John Gist, Sarah Guest Gist, <Unknown>, <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He died at the age of 75 in 1787.

General Notes
- Captain Thomas Gist fought in the French and Indian War and was present at
  the defeat of Gen. Braddock at Fort Duquesne on July 9, 1755. He was a
  planter and surveyor in Baltimore County, MD.
