Alabama.  John Blevins' father is Col Thorton Boykin Goldsby and his mother is Hester King (mulatto).  His paternal grandparents are RICHARD5, PETER GOLDSBY4 SR., THOMAS JAMES GOLDSBY3 JR., THOMAS GOLDSBY2 SR., JOHN1 GOLDSBY and Zilla Thornton. He has three brothers named George, Terrell King and Crawford. He had two half-brothers named George Washington and Terrell Richard.
