Margaret was born in 1321.  Margaret's father was Sir Alexander Fraser of Touchfraser and Cowie Frazier (High Chamerlain) Knt and her mother is Lady Mary the King's sister, dtr of Robert Bruce, Earl of Carrick in right of his wife Countess Marjorie, Mary's mother, Bruce. She had two brothers named John and William.  She is the youngest of the three children.
