Turtle Fields

Turtle was born about 1776 in Cherokee Nation East. Turtle's father was Richard Texas Dick Fields Sr and his mother was Susannah Onodutu married Fields Stewart Martin Emory (Ani'-Gil�'hi = Twisters, Braids, or Long Hair Clan (Mary Grant)). His maternal grandparents were Col William Emory (Cherokee) and Mary Grant (Ani'-Gil�'hi = Twisters, Braids, or Long Hair Clan (Mary Grant)). He had four brothers and a sister, named Richard KlauGas Texas Dick, George, George, John and Lucy. He was the youngest of the six children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Lucy Augusta, Thomas, Oo-no-du-tu Bushyhead, Bushyhead Oo-no-du-tu Stuart Stewart, John, Susannah and Rachel Sabra.
