Wari was born about 1774 in NY.  Wari's father is Capt John Doxstader (Dockstader Dogstider, Doghsteder, Doughstrader Dochstader) and her mother is Mohawk woman Mohawk (Mohawk).  Her paternal grandparents are Henrich Doxstader and Catherine Van Antwerp. She has two brothers named John and Joseph.  She is the youngest of the three children. She has a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Adam, Mary and Catherine.
