Earl Roger of Hertford De Clare

Roger was born about 1116. Roger's father was Richard FitzGilbert De Clare and his mother is Adeliza De Meschines. His paternal grandfather was Earl Gilbert FitzRichard of Hereford De Clare and his paternal grandmother is Adeliza De Clairmont; his maternal grandparents are RANULF Vicomte du Bessin "le Meschin" Meschines and Lucy. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Gilbert, Godfrey, Alice, Rohaise and Adeliza De. He died about 1173.
