Evan was born in 1685 in Welsh Tract, PA.  Evan's father is Morgan Davies (David) and his mother is Catherine Thomas.  His paternal grandparents are David Davis (David) and Maud Morgan. He had a brother named John I.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 62 in 1747.
