Robert of Whisby was born in 1610.  Robert of Whisby's father was Robert of Whisby, LIncs Cracroft and his mother was Martha Amcotts.  His maternal grandparents were Sir Richard of Aisthorpe, Lincs Amcotts and Joan FULNETBY.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 37 in 1647.
