John Newton Conger

John Newton was born on March 13th, 1814. John Newton's father was Rev Josiah Conger and his mother was Catherine Runyon. His paternal grandparents were John Conger and Mary Ross; his maternal grandparents were Isaac BRAFFORD "BAREFOOT" Runyon and Margaret Rambo. He had a brother and three sisters, named Aaron Ross, Nancy, Mary Ross and Eveline. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 27 on August 6th, 1841.
