Thomas was born on June 30th, 1770 in Newbern, North Carolina.  Thomas' father was Thomas Coleman I and his mother was Elizabeth Connolly.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Coleman and <Unknown>.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 56 on November 15th, 1826 in Maury Co. TN.
