    Am looking for information about my 4th great grandparents who married in
    Frederick Co, VA, in 1792
    
    William MARSHALL was born 7 Aug 1770, in Chester Co, PA, son of John
    MARSHALL, QUAKER, b. abt. 1740, who moved to Frederick Co, VA, after the
    Revolutionary War.
    
    William MARSHALL, married Elizabeth COLE, on 29 Dec 1792, in Frederick Co,
    VA. Elizabeth was born 25 Feb 1774, in VA, daughter of William and Nellie
    (Freeman) COLE. William COLE served 7 yrs in the Rev-War, with the 7th,
    11th, and 15th Regts' of Virginia Line Troops. It is also said he served in
    the Navy.
    
    William and Elizabeth (Cole) MARSHALL left VA in 1815, subsequently,
    relocating to Cairo, Louisa Co, Iowa, where they lived out the remainder of
    their lives. Both are buried in Cairo, Louisa County, Iowa. William died 20
    Mar 1861. Elizabeth died 15 June 1853.
    
    Any information about this couple, particularly their parents, would be
    deeply appreciated.
