Polly was born about 1758.  Polly's father was Gen. William James "Pyaheggo" and "Billy Colbert""Chooshemataha" Colbert (Chickasaw) and her mother was Ish-ta-na-ha Miriam "Mimey" Geer (Tuskegee Taskigi).  Her paternal grandparents were James Logan TRADER Colbert and Full Blooded Chicasaw "Indian" I; her maternal grandparents were John Geer and Elizabeth or Martha. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Levi, James, William James, Elijah, George, John, Dicy and Lucy. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Nuzeka Nossaecachubby and Mary Molly.
