Preston F was born about 1843 in TX.  Preston F's father was Clement Davis Chandler and his mother was Priscilla Marshall.  His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Chandler and Rebecca Davis; his maternal grandparents were John Marshall and Leah Ann Davis. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Lewis A, Joseph, Enoch, Louisa and Lucinda.
