Preston was born on February 4th, 1820 in AR.  Preston's father was Jacob Chandler and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Chandler and Rebecca Davis.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 63 on January 5th, 1884 in Washington Co AR.
