Sarah was born in 1666 in Essex Co., Virginia.  Sarah's father was John Immigrant Catlett IV and her mother was Elizabeth Underwood.  Her paternal grandparents were John A Immigrant Catlett (of Port Royal) III and Sarah Hawkins; her maternal grandparents were William Underwood and Margaret Roberts. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Rebecca, Margaret and Elizabeth [of John (3)].  She was the sixth oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers named Nicholas and Thomas.  She died at the age of 61 in 1727.
