James Carter

James was born in 1773 in Hereford County, North Carolina. James' father was Kindred Carter and his mother was unk. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Carter and Ruth. He had two brothers and a sister, named Henry, Jesse and Martha. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 85 on July 19th, 1858.
