Peter was born in March 1668.  Peter's father was Jehu Burr and his mother was Elizabeth Prudden.  His paternal grandparents were Jehu Burr and Elizabeth ?? Cabell (Cable). He had a brother and six sisters, named Samuel, Esther ???, Mary, Abigail, Elizabeth, Sarah and Joanna.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Daniel and Esther.  He died at the age of 56 on December 25th, 1724.
