Reuben was born on February 12th, 1744.  Reuben's father was Edward Burgess and his mother was Margaret Fewell.  His paternal grandparents were William Burgess and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Henry Fewell and Sarah Whiteman.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 76 on May 12th, 1820.
