Robert Bruce

Robert was born in 1164 in Annandale, Dumfrieshire, Scotland. Robert's father was Sir William Lord of Ugglebarnby Bruce and his mother was Christina De Seton Desposyni ???. His paternal grandparents were Robert Le Meschin Brus of Annandale Bruce and Euphemia. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, John and Beckwith. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 81 in 1245 in Saltre Abbey, Stilton, Huntingtonshire, England.
