Marshall Lawrence was born on January 26th, 1858.  Marshall Lawrence's father was Robert Marshall adopted Bruce and his mother was Elizabeth Boutwell.  Rev Benjamin F Bruce and Jane Trousdale were his grandparents through his father's adoption.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 71 on October 27th, 1929 in Omaha Township, Gallatin Co., IL.
