James Bruce

James was born in May 1778 in Elizabeth, Yohogania Co., Virginia. James' father was William Bruce and his mother was Maria Polly Lucas. His paternal grandparents were James Bruce (Bruce Group E) and Margaret McMahon; his maternal grandparents were William Lucas and <Unknown>. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Susannah. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 54 in 1832 in Breckenridge Co. KY.
