Walter was born about 1742 in Charles Co., Maryland.  Walter's father was UNK Briscoe and his mother was Susannah Williamson.  His maternal grandparents were Samuel Williamson and Judith Goldsmith.  He was an only child.  He died in 1783 in Nelson  Co.,  Kentucky.
