Robert Horatio Boteler

Robert Horatio was born on August 8th, 1832. Robert Horatio's father is Hezekiah Boteler and his mother is Aletha Claggett. His paternal grandparents are William Boteler and Delilah Giddings; his maternal grandparents are Dr Zachariah Claggett and Elizabeth Allison. He was an only child. He died at the age of 68 on November 29th, 1900.

  "Mr Robert H. Boteler, a well-known resident of Frederick County, Md. died last
  Thursday at his home a few miles from Brunswick, aged 68 years. He had been
  sick only a week, his death being caused by congestion of the lungs and heart
  failure. Mr. Boteler was a man who had the esteem of a wide circle of friends,
  and was a consistent member of the Episcopal church. He was a descendant of
  Captain Henry Boteler of the French and Indian and Revolutionary wars.
  Besides his widow, he is survived by the following children: Mrs Lee Moler,
  Brunswick; Mrs Twigg, Washington, D.C.; Misses Lilly, Birdie, Bessie Maggie
  and Gertrude, at home; Mrs Buckles of Jefferson County, Hezekiah Boteler, Jr.,
  at home and John M. Boteler of Washington.
