John Iverson was born on April 5th, 1761 in Gloucester Co., VA.  John Iverson's father is Joseph Colgate Boswell and his mother is Elizabeth Elliott. He had a brother named William Colgate. He had two half-brothers named Benjamin and Thomas.  He died at the age of 61 on March 3rd, 1823 in Lunenburg Va.
