Craven was born on November 12th, 1774 in Prince William Co., VA.  Craven's father was Edward Boswell and his mother is Elizabeth Craven.  His paternal grandparents are unk Boswell and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Edward, Dixon, Susannah Sukey Sukie Sookie, Elizabeth and Charlotte.  He died at the age of 72 on February 3rd, 1847 in Henderson Co., KY.
