Squire was born on December 6th, 1696 in Devonshire, England.  Squire's father was George immigrant Boone III and his mother is Mary Milton Maugridge.  His paternal grandparents are George Boone II and Sarah Uppey; his maternal grandparents are John Maugridge (Mogridge) and Mary Milton. He had a brother named Samuel.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 68 on January 2nd, 1765 in Rowan County, NC.
