Robert was born in 1825 in Monroe Co. VA.  Robert's father was John Boone and his mother was Nancy Carr.  His maternal grandparents were Isaac Immigrant Carr and Elizabeth Lemon Layman.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 85 on June 9th, 1910 in Braxton Co. WV.
