Marshall was born on August 28th, 1781.  Marshall's father was Jeremiah Bingham and his mother was Esther Palmer.  His paternal grandparents are Jeremiah Bingham and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Rev John Palmer and Esther Cleveland. He had a brother and a sister, named Gamaliel and Alice.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 30 on March 1st, 1812 in unmarried             .
