Nancy was born on April 5th, 1816 in Montgomery County VA.  Nancy's father was William ("Billy") Banks and her mother was     Mary ("Molly" or "Polly") Martin.  Her paternal grandparents were John Banks and Deborah Castille; her maternal grandparents were Giles Martin and Nancy Anne Ingram. She had a sister named Mary Abigail.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 82 on February 4th, 1899 in Floyd County VA.
