Rebecca was born about 1737 in Calvert County, Maryland. Rebecca's father was Samuel Austin and her mother was Elizabeth Jane Marshall. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Austin Sr and Elizabeth Lyles; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Marshall Sr and Margaret Chiley Cluly Wells?? Clewly.
