Henry was born in 1712 in Calvert County, Maryland.  Henry's father was Henry Austin Sr and his mother was Elizabeth Lyles.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Austin and Mary Hart; his maternal grandparents were William Lyles and Elinor poss. He had two brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Samuel and Eleanor.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 29 on January 24th, 1741.
