Samuel Adair

Samuel was born in 1781. Samuel's father was John Adair Sr and his mother was Nancy Ga-Ho-Ga Lightfoot (Ani'-Kawi' = Deer Clan (Ga-ho-ga)). His paternal grandparents were James Robert TRADER Adair Sr and Anna McBride; his maternal grandparents were Capt John Lightfoot and Ga-Ho-Ga Nancy Deer Clan (Ani'-Kawi' = Deer Clan (Ga-ho-ga)). He had a brother named Walter Black Watt S. He was the older of the two children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Charles Duncan, James, John and Jennie Doublehead. He died at the age of 98 in 1879.
